Bluegrass 911 Central Communication Center was formed by the Garrard & Lincoln County Fiscal Courts to provide better services to the residents of Garrard & Lincoln County. We were one of the first 911 Communication Centers in the state of Kentucky to merge like this.
We officially merged October 1, 2007 while operating in two separate facilities, on May 1st 2008 we merged both operations into a single facility located at 308 W Maple Ave Suite 5 Lancaster Ky.
April 19th 2016 we relocated to our new Central Communication Center located at 278 Precision Court, Lancaster Ky 40444

Each Telecommunicator must complete a 5 week in house training program with our Certified Training Officers then they must attend a 5 week training program at the Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT) in Richmond , Ky where they are certified in Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) and LINK/NCIC.

We have had members of our staff win multiple awards such as Director of The Year, Telecommunicator of The Year, Supervisor of The Year, and Director Russ Clark was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Kentucky Emergency Services conference.
